Wellbeing Advice Project

Many unresolved non-medical issues, such as problems at work, not having enough money, relationship problems, quality of housing, or being treated unfairly, can impact on your health.  Evidence shows that seeking advice can help prevent you from becoming ill due to these social problems.

Our Wellbeing Advisers are based within GP practices across Birmingham and they provide generalist advice on a broad spectrum of areas.

For example, they can help check if you are receiving your full benefit entitlement; they can help you to manage debts; challenge unfair employment practices, or help you learn more about your rights as a tenant.

To book an appointment with a Wellbeing Adviser, please speak to your GP, Nurse, Health Visitor or Practice staff member.
